Orka Productions is a small independent company that uses film as an addition to complement marketing strategies.
Based in Amsterdam since its founding in 2004, Orka has two branches seeking to create unique works of art: its audio-visual arm headed by filmmaker Catharina Ooijens and Orka Fine Arts; representing the work of artist Tom liesegang.
Orka Productions is headed by filmmaker Catharina Ooijens (b. Zeeland, NL). A former founder of Kleurnet, a multi-cultural television program in Amsterdam, Catharina has been involved in the making of children’s films, documentaries and corporate films for the past 15 years. She says, ”Artists can personalize a company by objectively seeing the entire structure. As an architect will envision the building, an interior designer will aesthetically pull it together, and artists represent the finishing touch. Here is what it looks like.”
